WROCŁAW is the one of the most beautiful cities in Poland. The Capital of Lower Silesia has about 635 thousand of inhabitants and about 293 km ² of area. The town is located on the river and its four tributaries, which feed it within the city limits: Bystrzyca, Oława, Ślęza and Widawa, are called Venice of the North. The richness of monuments, numerous cultural institutions, unique artistic events as well as the openness and friendliness of the inhabitants are the hallmarks of this city.

Wroclaw is also a very important academic center. In over 30 Higher Education schools there are about 130 thousand of students. The most famous and renowned universities are: University of Wroclaw, Wroclaw University of Technology and University of Economics.

It should be added that there are 11 Nobel Laureates associated with the University of Wrocław. The city was also the co-organizer of Euro 2012 and the European Capital of Culture in 2016.
